Is Your Past Holding You Back?
The first question I hear when I tell people I am an Art Therapist is, "What is art therapy?"
Generally, Art Therapy is using the artistic process and the resulting art product within a therapeutic relationship to help a client heal emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually.
Depending on your goals, I will work with you to safely tap into the negative memories and beliefs, including trauma, that are holding back your present well-being and success. You will have the space to recognize and logically reprocess those memories and the negative emotional connections your brain has given them.
Committing to this work will help you take back your power to create the life you want. And no, you don't have to be an artist or even be able to draw a straight line with a ruler!
